Existing building is mainly stone built with composite slate roof. Currently used as agricultural workshop, store and office. The use of the building will not change. The roof is in poor structural condition. The lean-to is in poor structural condition and has been partly repaired with concrete blockwork in the past. Soil and collapsed stonework fill the gap between the lean-to and the field. In addition, a section of wall at the south west corner of the main barn is bowing. Proposed work: - Replace the roof with natural slate. There is opportunity to improve natural lighting through installation of rooflights. - Take down and rebuild the lean-to. There is opportunity to extend the lean-to at the south-eastern end to increase storage space on an underused piece of land, as well as improve natural lighting through installation of rooflights. - A section of wall at the south-west corner of the main barn will be taken down and rebuilt in stone.
